Comments due Friday on MAPC Mystic Valley Parkway study
A reminder that Friday is the deadline to submit public comments on the Metropolitan Area Planning Council’s draft report from its Mystic Valley Parkway Green Line Extension Community Visioning Process.
The MAPC conducted the year-long visioning process to evaluate the potential benefits and impacts associated with the proposed Green Line station at Mystic Valley Parkway (Route 16) at Boston Avenue.
The study evaluated and addressed issues such as land use and zoning, economic development, job creation, tax revenue, transportation, open space, connectivity, housing, gentrification, displacement, air quality, and noise and vibration, and provides a series of recommendations for the potential station area.
The 93-page report is available on the MAPC website.
Comments can be submitted to MAPC by email to glx@mapc.org, or mailed to MAPC, c/o Eric Halvorsen, 60 Temple Place, Boston, MA 02111.
