MGNA: Medford Green Line Neighborhood Alliance

The Design Principles subcommittee of the Green Line Extension Design Working Group has scheduled its next two meetings. They are:

+ Tuesday, October 19, at 5:30 p.m. at the TAB Building, 167 Holland Ave., Somerville.

+ Tuesday, November 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the Visiting Nurses Association, 259 Lowell St., Somerville.

The next meeting of the full Design Working Group is scheduled for Monday, November 8, at 6 p.m.  at the Tufts University building at 51 Winthrop St., Medford.

Also, MassDOT has created a Yahoo discussion group for the Green Line Extension Design Working Group.  Anyone may join the group and read the archived postings, but only members of the DWG can post comments.

MassDOT has provided summaries of the Green Line Extension project informational meetings it held last month.

The second meeting of the Green Line Extension Design Working Group will take place on Monday, November 8, at 6 p.m. in the Tufts University building at 51 Winthrop Street in Medford.

The building, the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church at the corner of Boston Avenue, can be reached via MBTA bus routes 80, 94 and 96. Parking is available on Boston Avenue along Capen Street Extension, in the Dowling Parking Garage on Boston Avenue, and surface lots near Miller Hall and Hill Hall (Tufts University buildings).
