The Medford Green Line Neighborhood Alliance will hold its first meeting of the new year at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 1. It will be held in the Hillside area at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 100 Winthrop St. The meeting is open to everyone and the location is accessible and barrier-free. The meeting will follow a format similar to the MGNA’s initial meeting in November at the South Medford Fire Station. Representatives of the organization will provide a brief history of the project, including recent developments on the state level; provide an overview of MGNA’s objectives and goals; outline the proposed route; and moderate a discussion among those in attendance. MGNA is compiling a master list of ideas, opinions and concerns put forth by the community that can be presented to project planners for their use in designing an acceptable Green Line concept. The list from the first public meeting can be viewed here.
