Deadline extended for EENF comments
According to the Massachusetts Evironmental Policy Act office web site, the deadline for submitting written comments has been extended to November 24, 2006.

More resident input needed on the Green Line Extension
An editorial from MGNA appeared in the Medford Transcript today, here is an excerpt:
Last week, the Medford Transcript reported that the state’s most recent plan regarding the Green Line was to extend the line to the Medford Hillside/Tufts area. This is a significant change from the announcement made in May 2005, when the state and MBTA announced that the Green Line Extension would go to West Medford.
There is a fundamental problem with both plans: neither was developed with adequate input from the people who would be most affected by them: the residents of the Medford Hillside, South Medford and West Medford.
